Curtain Time

This should have been done much earlier before we move in but due to budget constraints we had to delay it till now. Initially wanted to use IKEA stuff but too troublesome and the fabrics available were not up to standard.

We got our set from Teng Yong curtains. Price is reasonably cheaper than some that we went to. It all depends on the type of cloth chosen and how you want it to be done. ie. how many panels, standard width of clothes etc. Just ask for quotations..

There had to be some rectification works for the living room curtains so photos of that will be posted later. All the curtains above are the same, only different in colours.

Below is a new way we thought of for use of panel curtains in our study room..

...as bookshelf "doors", basically to not have a normal bookshelf look and to prevent dust.

Moving Notice: 8 March 2008

We are moving in officially this Saturday. Wow it's been a long journey here but looking at the path ahead, this is only the beginning.

We'll be getting movers for our bed and piano so getting them to shift our yet-to-pack boxes of stuff over. Need to step over the "huo lu" and welcome our fengshui guanying and all other moving in procedures. Perhaps will post it online for your reference.

Although we're shifting, this does not mean the end of the blog. Red den is always open...yet to be fully operational due to lack of Cable (Sports). Haha still waiting for them to offer TV leh..
